Idol Gives Back

“Skating Panda have a unique understanding of where talent and brands meet and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to others. I specifically worked with them on my charitable campaign fundraiser, ‘Idol Gives Back’, as part of my show, ‘American Idol’, in the United States. The extremely successful programme raised over $76million in corporate and viewer donations to benefit children and adults in poverty worldwide. Skating Panda’s involvement in Idol Gives Back was invaluable. The rich combination of private sector and non-profit experience, real understanding of production and talent, as well as clear-sighted fundraising vision helped us surpass all expectations. The commitment and flair given helped us make creative content which engaged audiences and achieved incredible fundraising totals that have set the standard for ‘Idol Gives Back’ ever since.”

Simon Fuller, XIX Entertainment and creator of American Idol

Malaria No More

Skating Panda was instrumental in drawing up the initial communications strategy for Malaria No More UK. Skating Panda oversaw the charity’s public launch in 2009 which included a shoot with David Beckham and Andy Murray to produce a short film in which they explained their support for the charity; and the photo call at No.10 with the Prime Minister, David, Andy and Denise Lewis which generated widespread coverage across the UK press. Another key project which Skating Panda worked on was the initial pitch and planning for our partnership with ITV as sole charity recipient for ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!’. We are very pleased with all the support Andrea has given to MNMUK and would recommend her to others.”

Sarah Kline, Former Executive Director, Malaria No More UK
